Angeles City is the home of Field Avenue, a Go-Go Barstrip sometimes referred to as the tourist area.
This area has somehow survived the closing of Clark Air Base and remains an R&R (rest and recreation)
style of vacation retreat for unaccompanied men who enjoy exciting nightlife!
It's all here:
Alcohol and sexy, young women. There are over 99 Bars full of attractive and readily available women eager
to show you a good time. Angeles City is a nonstop, drunken revel seven days a week, everyday of the year.
Recreational sex is the sport of choice. You can enjoy full privileges with one or more attractive young females
regardless of your age, weight, physical appearance, interpersonal skills, wealth or social class.
Go-go Bars start to open at noon and a few keep the music pumping until 5:00 AM.
Some small hostess bars are open 24 hours. Prices in Angeles City are extremely low, which means you can
carouse in full throttle without wiping out your life savings.
English is widely spoken.
You don't have to learn a single word of the native language.
Top go-go Bars in Angeles City which have their own web site include Champagne Group (Champagne,
Lancelot, Brown Sugar, Camelot), Roadhouse, Mirrors Club, Insomnia and Flamingo Bar locations can be found on
the printed edition of the Angeles Bar Guide and on the UTP Angeles City map available for sale at various
retail outlets throughout town.,
Buying a drink for a girl you find attractive is a good way to break the ice. A man who doesn't buy drinks for any
of the girls while he's bar hopping is called a Cheap Charlie. Generally, eight drinks will buyout a dancer or waitress
from her shift and she will leave the bar with you. The politically correct term for this is early work release or simply
EWR. It's most often called a bar fine. The bars are able to release employees before the end of their shift; however,
the law prohibits bars from controlling or directing the conduct of its ladies once they're out the door. You pay to get
the girl out of her shift. Nothing else. Some girls will go out to eat with you, some will go bar hopping, some will
spend the night, some will fly home with you. Discuss it with the girl of your choice over a drink.
If you're a big spender and want to see a lot of smiling faces, each bar has a bell you can ring to buy drinks for all
the dancers and other staff. Depending on the number of employees, friends and relatives of the mamasan, this
can end up costing you over $100. Spend a little money, make some new friends.
As you explore the tourist area, you might make a turn down A. Santos Street. Here you will find old-style bars of
the non-go-go variety. This is called Blow Row. These rundown, small bars each have a dozen girls at the most.
They are open around the clock and the girls will try to get you to go into one of the rooms in the back! The
transvestite population has mostly disappeared. There aren't any gay boy go-go bars like you'd find in Thailand.
And, the go-go bars only employ genuine females so if you're looking for lady boys or gay nightlife you're in the
wrong place. Gamblers will like Casino Filipino.
In addition to having dozens of go-go bars, Angeles City has many restaurants. These are useful since man
cannot live on alcohol and sex alone. On the western edge of Field Avenue near the money changers is the 24-hour
Margarita Station, with plenty of smiling waitresses.
If you like spicy food order the salpicao. At the corner of Field Avenue and A. Santos Street is Kokomo's.
Among other things this 24-hour restaurant has an ATM machine, a go-go bar and a hotel.
Try taking one or two of your new loves to Krung Thai Restaurant located across from DMZ bar. At Field Avenue and
A. Santos Street is Ristorante Verona located atop Lancelot Bar. Above Roadhouse and Private Dancer is Salvatore's
which serves pizza, pasta and imported New Zealand mussels.
The dining room provides a quick escape from the noise and hustle of Field Avenue. A casual restaurant that's open
late, Chic'n Ribs has the best pork ribs in town. It's located on lower Field Avenue between Blue Nile and MacArthur
Highway. American-style submarine sandwiches are available on Field Avenue at Sub Delicious. On MacArthur
Highway there's Fortune Hong Kong Seafood Restaurant for Chinese food, and Ribeye Restaurant for steak and lobster tail.
